We observe that many people avoid hair transplantation due to concerns about pain. Actually, pain varies from person to person and is relative. Local anesthesia is applied before the procedure to prevent pain. The drugs used for local anesthesia may cause a slight burning sensation, which also varies between individuals.

Severe pain is not expected after the hair transplantation procedure. Some headache may occur on the first day. You can take painkillers for relief.

The average time for the body to eliminate edema after hair transplantation is about five days. If you follow the instructions and take your medications regularly, swelling on the face is rarely observed.

In the area where follicles are taken, those follicles will not grow back as hair. The follicles are taken along with some tissue and transferred. Since follicles are taken homogeneously from the donor area, other hairs will cover the area after they grow.

Your transplanted hair is taken from the most genetically resistant area to hair loss (the back of the head). Unless you have certain oncological conditions, the risk of hair loss in the future is very low.

Your transplanted hair enters a resting phase immediately after the procedure. These hairs start to grow again within 3 months after the procedure. When all your transplanted hair reaches a certain length, you will achieve the desired appearance. The entire process takes about 1 year.

Hair transplants performed with the FUE method do not leave large or deep scars. Since the taken follicles will not regrow, tiny, white, pinpoint marks like needle pricks will remain where follicles were taken. Other hairs that grow homogeneously will cover these areas.

Depending on your job, you can return in three or four days. However, if you work in heavy labor, dirty environments, or places requiring helmets or hats, you may need to take a 10-day break.

You can start exercising 1 month after the hair transplantation procedure.

You can swim in the sea or pool 1 month after the hair transplantation procedure.
